At InHomesDirect, we aim to make your delivery experience seamless and stress-free. Our comprehensive delivery options cater to various needs, ensuring your new flooring arrives efficiently and securely.


Express Kerbside Delivery

Before Delivery
Once your order has been accepted and dispatched, you'll receive an email and SMS confirmation. This ensures you're informed and ready for your delivery.

The Day of Delivery
On the morning of your scheduled delivery, you'll receive an SMS notification confirming your order is en route. Deliveries are made between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and a signature is required upon receipt. We recommend ensuring that the recipient is able-bodied to assist with transferring the product if necessary.

During Delivery
Our Express Kerbside Delivery service will place your pallet on the kerbside at the nearest accessible point to your property. A signature will be required upon delivery, and you'll receive an SMS confirmation once the delivery is completed.

Light Parcel Deliveries

For packages under 30kg, we offer a Light Delivery Service directly to your door between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. You’ll receive an email and SMS with a four-hour estimated delivery window to help you plan your day.


Delivery to Remote Areas

For remote areas, your flooring will be delivered on a pallet to the nearest kerbside access point. While we cannot offer a precise delivery time for this option, rest assured we aim to deliver as promptly as possible.

Deliveries to remote locations such as Northern Ireland and areas with restricted access incur an additional charge. Eligible postcodes for remote area delivery include:
PO30–PO40, PA20–PA78, PH, IV, KW, ZE, HS, GY, JE.


Delivery Charges and Options

  1. Express Kerbside Delivery - £40

    • Pallet delivery to the kerbside nearest to your property.
    • Delivery window: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (includes a call from the driver).
    • Delivery time: 5 to 7 working days from the order date.
  2. Light Parcel Delivery - £15

    • Doorstep delivery on a day of your choice (Monday to Friday).
    • Delivery window: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  3. Light Parcel AM Delivery - £20

    • Morning delivery on a day of your choice (Monday to Friday).
    • Delivery window: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Important Considerations

  • For properties with restricted access (e.g., stepped entrances or flats above the ground floor), deliveries will be left at the ground floor external doorstep.
  • Deliveries are made using commercial vehicles, including lorries up to 18 tonnes. Please ensure the delivery location is accessible to these vehicle types.
  • If no one is available to accept your delivery, a re-delivery charge will apply for rescheduling.
  • We recommend including a mobile number at checkout to receive SMS updates for your four-hour delivery slot.

Pre-Delivery Advice

We strongly advise against booking installers until your flooring has arrived. While we strive for timely deliveries, unforeseen delays can occur, and we cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses resulting from delivery issues or unacclimatised flooring.

Receiving your new flooring is an exciting step towards completing your home project. Once delivered, inspect your items and refer to our comprehensive brochure for tips on installation and care.
